Celebrate Harrison Township’s 175thAnniversary at the Harrison Township Historical Society’s Harvest Buffet in the Richwood U. M. Church’s Fellowship Hall followed by a concert in the church’s historic 1860 sanctuary by Beck’s Philadelphia Brigade Band, an authentic 19thcentury brass band.  Mullica Hill’s blueplate Restaurant is preparing a bountiful menu featuring fruit and produce from local farms; vegetarian and gluten free options are included.   A unique celebration of our community’s heritage. The church and hall are located at 104 Richwood Road, Richwood, NJ.  Tickets are $42 per person (all-inclusive). A TASTE OF THE TOWNSHIP – A guided culinary tour of Old Harrison Township’s farms and foodways.

Join the Society’s inaugural tour exploring the township’s farms and food history.  We begin by exploring the township’s farming history at Old Town Hall Museum and then board a motorcoach to visit farms, farmstands, restaurants and a winery.  At each stop the owners share their stories and provide us with tastings of their finest along the way – with time to purchase your favorites.  Tour leader, James Turk, will provide commentary and local history throughout the day.
