Join the Harrison Township Historical Society for their spring exhibition, “Going, Going, Gone...Lost Landmarks of Harrison Township” Starting on March 16th the Society will be displaying various photographs and artifacts of lost, or soon to be lost, historic landmarks from Mullica Hill, Jefferson, Richwood & Ewan.
The idea for the exhibit was sparked with the approval to demolish the New Jersey Water Company building located on Mill Road. The building that was once a grist mill dates back to the early 1800’s. This is only one of the several historic structures that have disappeared from Mullica Hill’s scenery. Some very recent additions to the "gone list" include the Jefferson School and the Spicer street water tower.
Come out to discover memories of the past or to reminisce on simpler times.
